Mark sold his first classic vehicle back in 1983, and as a hobby has bought and sold over a hundred classic vehicles as well as restored many classic and collectible vehicles. For the past thirty two years Mark has demonstrated a successful track record by achieving set goals, increasing profitability margins and targeting growth markets. He has owned several companies and managed up to forty employees with revenues in the seven figures, he has developed a drive for results to achieve a standard of excellence. He is always positive and enthusiastic, with high energy levels, and enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment.
The idea of Classic V8 Sales stemmed from Mark purchasing a collector vehicle out of state, and when the vehicle arrived, it was not as represented in the pictures and description. He lost over $6,000 on the purchase and decided there must be a better way to purchase a classic vehicle without the expense of flying to each location to view and inspect it. Mark decided to build a company around what he loves: Classic Vehicles. In early 2015, he recognized the opportunity to bring technology into the classic car business and the idea of Classic V8 Sales was born.
Chief Operations Officer
Ryan brings a unique talent set to the Classic V8 team. As a child, Ryan would hang pictures of sports cars on his walls and pretend he was the next James Bond. The acting bug took Ryan to NYU where he graduated with a degree in Theatre. Ryan then spent several years both in front of and behind cameras producing several projects for television, film, and advertising agencies. He was drawn to public service after seeing an ad on a subway car looking for individuals to become high school teachers in low-income schools in NYC. As a high school Algebra teacher in the South Bronx, Ryan was recognized for his early implementation of technology in the classroom and was asked to develop a blended learning curriculum for over 100 teachers for the NYC Department of Education. The dream was always to become a Principal of a boarding school for students within the foster care system, so he pursued his Principal’s license and received a second Master’s Degree from Columbia University in School Leadership. Ryan effectively led multiple teams of teachers in school reform in the NYC Public School System. When Ryan wasn’t working in schools, he was pursuing another passion: Real Estate. Ryan got his Realtor’s license in New Jersey and he and his partner flipped and renovated several multiple family homes.
Ryan’s background with personalized technology in the classroom, adult team leadership, online advertising and real estate all position him to be an effective COO for Classic V8 Sales. He will spend most of his time as the lead trainer of Classic V8 Sales Agents as well as creative director for Classic V8 digital development.
